Position Overview
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors, ensuring efficient operation of the office and enabling leaders to focus on strategic priorities. Paired with Marketing responsibilities this role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain event calendars with the National Entrepreneur Center, GrowthZone, and other partner websites when needed.
- Contribute to Marketing efforts by creating and publishing content to websites, social media, advertisements with media partners, and other marketing needs as they arise.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and reports.
- Screen and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence; respond on behalf of leadership when appropriate.
- Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Arrange and support logistics for internal and external events.
- Act as a liaison between leadership and external partners.
- Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making.
- Perform general office management tasks and additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency with office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management tools).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Event Coordination experience including logistics, execution, and follow-up tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic setting.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Reliable transportation

Work Schedule and Compensation
- Part-time: 20-25 hours per week, flexible scheduling with occasional evenings/weekends for events.
- Additional hours scheduled as needed for Signature Events.
- This is a hybrid working environment to be scheduled based on meeting and event schedule.
- Hourly wage commensurate with experience.
